This rare White Tea is made at Glenburn midsummer over just a couple of days each year, when the silvery green buds are about to unfold. Silver Needle is a world-famous Chinese white tea that is highly prized because it is made from only the whole young buds, requiring expert picking and delicate processing. Our highly experienced team have created Glenburn's very own Silver Needle to rival the Chinese original and offer a unique and rare Darjeeling white tea. The silvery velvety appearance comes from fine white pubescence on the underside of each leaf bud. The careful preservation of this texture by our most experienced tea pickers, follows through to the subtle flavour of the cup. The liquor is very light with delicate undertones and a crisp finish. Rich in anti-oxidants with very little caffeine, this tea is excellent drunk at any time of the day. 50g loose tea in an elegant Glenburn Gift Tin.

Best Earl Grey Tea.

Taste, Aroma and colour all top notch. I purchased loose leafs after using Pyramid Sachets purchased twice, first from Amazon and next from Glenburn. In both the cases, it was best tea in worst sachets. Pyramid sachets are made of worst material which tears off just after taking it out of envelope. Would like to buy sachets if quality of sachet skins are improved.

Very good

Glenburn First Flush tea (2026)

I bought this tea from Glenburn Tea Estate during my recent tour there in May'26. I liked the flavour so much that I placed a repeat order for the same online. I hope I'll enjoy the same flavour from this packet too.

Glenburn love affair continues🤗

Loving the first flush. Be it to kick start my day - for that fresh awakening. Or any time of the day - for that mild rejuvenation. Thank you Team for your work.

Elegantly subtle

The taste is elegant. The palatable texture is subtle and smooth. And in my opinion slightly less mouthful in terms of persistence of the taste. However, I really enjoy it. I my give a marks of 8.5/10.
